Approximately a month or two months ago many people started having issues with #espeak-ng on android. While using other than english voice it was constantly switching it-self back into english. I could not reproduce it because I'm running as google free phone as possible with @microg instead of Google play services. If you are experiencing the same thing just update Google Speech Services app. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.tts thanks to hint discovered by Milan Rezen.

Incredibly exciting to get official confirmation that Germany's health service (@email@example.com) has standardised on Matrix for secure decentralised communications, targeting all 150,000 healthcare organisations in Germany(!!!) 🤯 Read all about it at https://matrix.org/blog/2021/07/21/germanys-national-healthcare-system-adopts-matrix 💉🇩🇪🚀
Ha! Just realised it's been over a decade since I switched to #ArchLinux full time. At the time it was a rather smallish, up and coming distro, often accused by detractors of being 'unstable'.
Nowdays, it ships pre-installed on gaming consoles made by AAA game publishers. And yes, it's stable. In fact I have a 5 year old Arch install still going strong.
Huge thanks to everyone who made Arch what it is today. 🍷
This is your app without VoiceOver support. Don’t be this app! #accessibility
"It means every instance of Kaspersky Password Manager in the world will generate the exact same password at a given second. This would be obvious to spot if every click on the “Generate” button, in the password generator interface, produced the same password. However, for some reason, password generation is animated: dozens of random chars are displayed while the real password has already been computed. This animation takes more than 1 second, so it is not possible to click several times on the “Generate” button within a second. That is definitely why the weakness had not been discovered before."
However, at the end of this semester, I had dozens and dozens of emails pouring in each day, and I found my traditional email workflow undesirable. I developed a system of dealing with my emails in batches: one pass to filter/organize by deadline, another pass for emails due today, another pass for emails due within 3 days, etc.
It worked tremendously well. I didn't lose track of anything. I wasn't stressed. It was nice and efficient.
But it would have worked even better with a batch-oriented email client, which is what I'm developing now. Unfortunately I won't be able to grab about using any sexy technologies, just boring old Python3 imaplib. Still, I'm excited.
I've put together some details for folk interested in working with #Android Firmware (#AOSP, Lineage, etc.) about what the development cycle looks like. Let me know if you find it useful or think there should be changes made.
The WebAIM #ScreenReader survey results are out! For anyone who'd find the information interesting -- either because they use one themselves, want to know which ones to test with when determining website/software #accessibility, or just because they're bored -- they can review it here:
I have no idea how or why JAWS is so popular this year ... Like come on! NVDA is *free*

Mastodon je sociálna sieť založená na otvorených webových protokoloch a na slobodnom softvéri. Je decentralizovaná, podobne ako email.
